A world-famous Hungarian bred walnut variety. Its fruit has a thin shell and is easily cracked. Fruit quality and yield are outstanding. It has medium-strong growth and develops a slightly spreading crown. Spring frosts rarely damage it. It ripens in the second half of September. It is partially self-fertile; a good pollinator is the Alsószentiváni 117 walnut variety. Excellent for fresh consumption and confectionery use.
